Spirit in Flesh Album

Eventually everything shows up on YouTube. I just came across this in exceptionally good quality. The soundtrack of my youth. We’ve been talking about the commune for a long time now. You could tell me 100 things that were wrong with it and I’d have to agree. You could tell me 100 things that were wonderful about it and I’d have to agree. (And that’s probably true of any life). I’ll always be grateful not only for the lessons that I learned there – those are in hundreds of books from Tolle’ to Gibran – but for the opportunity to live in practicing those lessons.

6:55
“Some people weed their garden till it’s thin. Their minds just won’t let the sunshine in. A wise man tends his thoughts with loving care and rows his happiness and sunshine there.

In my father’s house there are many mansions. They’re all fine but they’re all different, you see. So don’t tell your neighbor you’re better than he is and don’t put limitations on God or Me.”

To find the good in everyone we come to. I’m sure that’s the way we ought to be. To constantly return good for evil. And shine the light for those who cannot see.

In my father’s house there are many mansions. They’re all fine but their all different you see. So don’t tell your neighbor you’re better than he is and don’t put limitations on God or Me.”

Those lyrics make me proud. The whole album is like that. This is what were were singing while building the dorm and working in the garden. I know there was bad with the good but I am so glad to have been there and to have had exposure and involvement in this brilliant and inspired life.
