Tomato, garlic, basil sauce:

I have made this in 10 minutes with one can of tomatoes, garlic and basil & oregano. Almost everything in it is optional. I almost always use different ingredients. This happens to contain all of them. In tomato season I use fresh tomatoes and herbs.

This was for a group but it keeps well and gets better as it sits so you can eat it all week.

This is our new favorite meal. Tomato Basil Quinoa.

(Amounts are suggestions. This really doesn’t need exacts.)

Fabulous peanut sauce over linguine (I was out of udon but this worked fine) Crispy garlic & ginger seitan and cucumber sticks. Could have used scallions but it was just fine without them. I’ll be making this sauce again!

This recipe works very well, is very easy to make and requires no fancy kitchen equipment (not even a hand mixer). It is very slightly sweet (only uses 1/2 cup of sugar). There are 3 variations, The standard original one, the vegan one and the pet chicken egg one. They all taste exactly the same to me and I’m a picky foodie.
